Hampton’s Endurance line is focused on meeting the requirements for long-distance cruising in luxury, comfort, and safety. These mission-specific yachts are designed by noted naval architect Howard Apollonio, an acknowledged expert in producing highly performance-efficient hull forms. The Endurance family of hulls utilises a hybrid form that delivers the fuel economy and seakeeping ability of a full-displacement hull for longer open-water passages, with the potential for the higher speeds of a semi-planing form for alongshore travel and island hopping.

Extensively tow-tank tested and refined through real-world trials, Endurance hulls deliver a unique blend of full-displacement economy and early-planing performance.
By eliminating the forward chine and reshaping the bow sections, the Endurance hybrid hull significantly reduces resistance from 12–20 knots while running exceptionally well at early planing speeds.
Solid FRP laminate from keel to weather deck, multiple layers of Kevlar reinforcing, vinylester resins, watertight collision bulkheads, fire-detection systems and twin all-chain anchor rodes — engineered to go to sea.
Endurance hull sides are solid laminate above the waterline, composed of a minimum five layers of Knytex (or Cymax) glass reinforcing. Unlike many other yachts, Endurances are not cored below the rail — they are solid laminate all the way from the toe rail to the bottom of the keel. The hull/deck joint is through-bolted every six inches, sealed with 3M 5200 polyurethane adhesive, then glassed over with three layers of fibreglass.
Decks and superstructures are cored with high-strength Core-Cell foam, and the saloon sole over the engine room is fitted with an additional six inches of sound-attenuating material for ultra-quiet operation. All tanks are moulded in vinylester-resin fibreglass laminate, with food-grade resin on potable water tanks and fire-retardant exteriors on fuel tanks — every tank is pressure-tested.
From their carefully thought-out deck layouts to their skilfully engineered propulsion packages, Endurance yachts are built to go to sea. Critical safety features are never overlooked: watertight anti-collision bulkheads, multiple escape hatches, fire detection and suppression systems, a custom ship’s monitoring system, and twin anchors rigged with 300 feet of all-chain rode running over link-matched hydraulic windlasses.
